What a fantastic experience! The team was friendly, professional, and made the whole visit enjoyable from start to finish. The range was clean, well-organized, and safety was clearly a top priority. I particularly appreciated the time the staff took to provide guidance and ensure everyone felt comfortable. It's not often you find a place that combines professionalism with such a welcoming atmosphere.  What should've been an experience for my husband, turned out to be a very therapeutic couple session for us. We learned so much that we didn't know we needed to know. What an amazing experience!!! We bought a shooting experience voucher from SL Training Academy for our son, and it was worth every cent. Shuheid Brown was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly good at explaining everything in a way that was easy to understand. He didn't just teach them how to shoot; he helped us understand the mindset behind good marksmanship, the importance of safety, and the legal responsibilities that come with firearm ownership. He made the information part of the session so engaging and fun that even I (as just the taxi driver for my son) was genuinely interested, engaged, and asking questions. When it was time for the shooting, his attitude was no-nonsense and strict—very much what is needed when handling firearms. Safety was clearly his number one priority throughout the entire experience. Everything felt well-controlled and professionally managed at all times, and we always felt completely comfortable and safe. A special mention must also go to Layla, Shuheid's right-hand woman, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep everything organized and running smoothly. Her friendliness and attention to detail certainly did not go unnoticed. We learned so much, and my son absolutely loved every minute of it. It was educational, fun, and genuinely memorable. Very good and thorough instructor with a lot of emphasis on security. Also areally nice person that makes it interesting and fun. My only issue was the ammount of focus on self defense laws and concepts. For me, coming from a very peaceful country was a little disturbing

Sincere Shukran to you and your family for granting me and also my sister and niece the opportunity to experience the activities at the SLT Academy shooting range in the mountain nook yesterday, 24 August 2025. Algamduliellah, Shukr Allah SWT for the mountains' beauty and for the cool weather. It was great to meet Laila, (who was most helpful and who also shared some useful tips) and Instructor Shuheid (who was funny yet extremely serious and disciplined) . Even though I was reluctant to go, I had a great learning experience on the range. So thank you for the encouragement and for fetching and dropping me. 🙏 I liked how the Instructor facilitated the day's course, Algamduliellah. The theory part was extremely beneficial and interesting and we had a few "ahaa" moments. The practical part, though nerve-wracking, especially that buzzer, was daunting, yet fun in a serious way. Learning the stance ie shoulders forward, drawing the gun and the actual shooting of the different guns was an experience. Though I practiced shooting in the late 1990s, it was great to do an accredited refresher. I was grateful for my holster, learning how to load the bullets into the "magazines", the 9mm gun and even the new, battery operated ear muffs. The opportunity to experience and witness the first shot, a bulls eye shot by Fatima, and also by Ghaalimah and Salwah, and just going over and over with the steps as each one were individually taught and taken through the motions of shooting. Shukran for the Instructor's assertiveness and his extreme patience. 🤲 I loved "shooting the balloons" exercise. Hitting the target was a thrilling, yet mixed feelings. The stark reminder of the importance of life. The realisation/reminder of consciousness, being extremely mindful, disciplined, listening carefully to instruction, and most important the Safety factor and practicing the Safety Rules. lol, at home, I found myself, periodically practicing the 4 steps. Also I could still hear "finger off the trigger", "range is hot", "standby" and the buzzer. Also  "Mama fail! " and "don't think that you got so far and can quit! " Food for thought. The instructor did not compromise on safety which made me feel very safe and comfortable. At first I was nervous but once I knew how to apply all the rules and stand properly everything went well.  I will definitely visit the range again.

I have had a phenomenal time and experience with like minded people. The instructor Shuheid was Friendly in his approach. He was strict on his  emphasis on safety. Attentive to everyone’s who had concerns about their firearm usage. There was no restrictions to shooting, provided that it was done with the lessons on safety learned and practised upon. Not what is advertised. I am usually not one to complain but this is a complete SCAM. Instructor is rude and condescending. He constantly shouts at you and threatens to kick you out . He calls you names . He does more talking then anything. It is advertised as "unlimited shooting " but everyone was only allowed to shoot 2 rounds on each gun . We only shot 4 guns then he TOLD us we are tired . we had to blow and set up the balloons up ourselves. The instructor is Arrogant, rude and unprofessional. We expected a day of fun but he took that away .. I completely regret buying two tickets for his .. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK

The entire experience was phenomenal and professionally entertaining, enjoyable and most importantly always safely executed and supervised. The advanced instructor is incredibly competent, passionate, attentive and transfers more than enough knowledge to sharpen your mindset and skills as you try out different guns and at different ranges (and makes sense why you need a half day and maybe more time, so you can be comfortable) Thank you a lot SL Training.
